PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND OF KEY PERSONNEL: BRLS is headed by Wilfred J. "Wil" Fontenot, P.LS, with over thirty years experience in all phases of Land Surveying, including 25 plus years as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Mr. Fontenot's experience covers a broad range of land surveying projects and applications.  BRLS is always at the cutting edge of new technology and developments of surveying equipment and computer applications as they relate to land surveying. With the development of an extensive system of descriptor codes for use in the field with the electronic data collection system, BRLS can perform all types of surveys in a very efficient manner.

BRLS has performed numerous surveys through out East Baton Rouge Parish. We have our own existing extensive vertical control system developed over the years, much of which is already based upon the NAVD 1988 datum. We have approximately 5,000 temporary benchmarks already existing in our private vertical network system. In performing more than 20,000 individual surveys over the last 21 years, we are thoroughly familiar with the parish and the terrain. We have acquired the files of several retired land surveyors and we have one of the most extensive private collections of survey maps in the Baton Rouge area.
