PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
FORTE AND TABLADA, since 1961, has undertaken projects for hundreds of public and private clients including local, state and federal governments, airports, architectural and construction firms and industrial clients.
FORTE AND TABLADA offers a broad range of professional engineering and land surveying services including preliminary investigations, reports, studies, and preparation of design drawings and specifications in the fields of Civil, Environmental, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. We also provide existing facility investigation services. Members of the firm hold professional licensure in several states.
CIVIL
The Civil department has designed buildings, major highways, bridges and city streets. Projects have included waste water treatment and collection facilities, water and gas distribution systems, fire protection, pumping stations and land development. Studies have been performed and designs developed relative to large streams and flood plains.
To expedite and enhance this work, F&T maintains an in-house survey team with the latest in survey equipment. Full time construction observation can also be provided.
ELECTRICAL
F&T’s electrical staff serves industrial, commercial and municipal clients. Their work experience includes high voltage transmission, in-plant distribution, short circuit and relay coordination studies, high voltage switching stations and motor controls.
The company designs and specifies all electrical power and control components.
F&T provides interior and exterior lighting design, low and high voltage distribution systems as well as communications and security systems.
Construction observation is provided for industrial and commercial projects. Project management is also offered for work designed exclusively by F&T.
SURVEYING
Forte and Tablada in conjunction with its subsidiary Baton Rouge Land Surveying, Inc. can provide excellent land surveying services for all types of projects. The majority of our surveying services are either Topographic and Boundary Surveys or Construction Layout services.
We have the capabilities and equipment to run five (5) fully outfitted crews on a daily basis utilizing some of the newest technology available.
MECHANICAL
The company has designed complete mechanical systems for industrial, institutional, municipal and commercial installations, and has become a forerunner in design of the facilities required for correctional institutions.
The designs have included numerous power plants, industrial equipment and process piping installations, building and building complex plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems, as well as design of scientific laboratories and food processing plants. The latter are only a part of the long list of projects designed under F&T’s mechanical division.
Environmental Permitting
Forte and Tablada offers our clients the option of in-house permitting services. We can help our clients through the various paperwork and processes for DOTD permits, DEQ permits, 404 permits and Coastal Use permits to name a few.
